Terms: Payment before despatch, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required for castings made to order.
Prices and specifications are those ruling on 1 January 2012, and are expected to remain unchanged in 2012, subject to correction of any errors
or oversights by me. |
|
CAUTION: some live steam designs specify under-sized wheels for extra clearance, such as for the 'Project' tender. Others may have slightly
under-sized drivers to allow for over-scale model flanges. Please check before ordering.
These castings are NOT expected to be strong enough to be gripped from the centre only when turning
the tread. Castings should be gripped by their shoulders, or in the later stages between discs each side of the tyre.
See Turning suggestions. |
| SURFACE COLOUR OF CASTINGS CAN VARY
- this is mostly due to the choice of grit used in shot blasting ERRORS: dimensions and instructions on this disc are given in good faith and are thought to be reasonably accurate but they should be checked in case of errors in measuring, typing etc. They are offered for use at your own risk. |
| The images of the castings are about life size on 17" flat screens
set at 1024 x 768 pixels. They are much the same on 19" screens at 1280 x 1024 pixels.
