Walk 10a, Cobbs Lake, Oliver's Farm and Toppesfield. Clockwise.

Start from the village green.

Cross the bridge and go left into the High Street

Cross the High Street and go up these steps.

Joining from Whitlock Drive avoiding the steps.

Go ahead behind the houses. Then left at the top.

Go towards the Highways depot.

Go right and left.

Go along the side of the depot fence then left and right.

Follow the track to Toppesfield Road

Go right on to Toppesfield Road and left by the spider house.

Go down the green lane.

Go right and through the gates.

Go over the stile and right

Notice on the stile

Keep ahead with the fence on your right.

Go past Cobbs Lake and over the stile by the gate.

Go through the gap in the corner and left to the lake.

Go past the end of the lake

View to the left.

Go right from the lake and over this bridge.

Go ahead up the slope, and go right just before the stile.

The bottom of Witches Field. Go ahead with the ditch on your right.

Go over this bridge and continue to the wood.

Go right into the meadow then left beside the wood.

Go ahead beside the wood.

At the end of the meadow go right and over this bridge.

Go left off the bridge and through this gap.

Go along this meadow

At the end of the meadow go right and through this broad entrance.

Go left with the river on your left

At the far end go right uphill

Along this farm track

Then go diagonally right across the field.

Cross the concrete to the gap.

Go through the gap in the corner and go left.

Go ahead beside Oliver's Farm fence.

Emerge on to the road go left and then right into a field.

Go beside the field and follow the boundary left at the top.

Go right into the Toppesfield Churchyard.

Go left past the Church

Leave the Churchyard and go right down Church Lane.

Church Lane becomes a hardened by-way

Church Lane

Go left through the gap then sharp right to the corner

After going left at the corner go shortly ahead, then right

Through this gap, over the bridge and left

Follow the path beside Brickyard Field

Keep ahead past this path joining from the left

Leave Brickyard Field, then go left and right

Leave Smiths Field through the gap ahead.

Go ahead to the steps or right to Whitlock Drive

The exit to Whitlock Drive. Then go left to the High Street.

Go ahead down the steps then cross the High Street.

Go left, then right over the bridge to the Village Green.
