2007 Annual Show Report

Another successful Annual Show was held on September 15th at St. Andrew's School. This is an ideal venue for us and must be an encouragment towards the large number of entries from the children. Good also to see a wall display of pictures of their new gardening project with produce grown by the children in the summer term.

The top award of the show is the Banksian Medal provided by the Royal Horticultural Society. This is given for the highest number of points for Flowers and Pot Plants combined with the Fruit and Vegetable section, excluding the winners in the previous two years, this year the medal was awarded to Mrs Sally Daborn from her entries in both Sections.
