Free public access, with free parking along the side of the access track.

This site has a strong colony of Marbled Whites. Clouded Yellows were reported from here in July 2012, with a good photo on the Branch web site.

22 July 2012. Sugley Wood. 2 probable Clouded Yellows, 2 Small Tortoiseshells, 30+ Marbled Whites, several Gatekeepers and Meadow Browns, some Small Skippers.
30 June 2013. Sugley Wood: 12 Large Skippers, 2 Large Whites, 1 Common Blue, 2 Small Tortoiseshells, 7 Meadow Browns, 8 Small Heaths.
